Morning After hails from the city of Lahti in southern Finland. This four-piece hardcore wolf pack plays NYC-styled mid-tempo hardcore with no gimmicks or synthesizer-bullshit. Morning After is all about hardcore, pure and simple. Four guys, enthusiasm and rage.
The lyrics concern subjects such as drugs, violence, human relationships, religion and the fucked up thing that we call life in general. The guys have played a lot of shows during the years of their existence, mostly in Finland, but also in Sweden, Denmark, Spain and the Netherlands. During these times of live performances the band has gained a well known reputation for their live actions as a band that can say and do almost anything during their show, if provoked correctly.
Although the subjects of their songs are mainly negative and lack of hope, the guys themselves are a bunch of fun loving bastards who make your night a night to remember. Take the music seriously but don’t mistake taking guys seriously. The fuse is lit for the new era on Finnish hardcore so the rest of the world will just have to get used to the idea of having a bunch of cunts, aka Morning After round spreading the streetwise gospel of business city hardcore!
