Helsinki’s hardest are back at it. ”Behind Obstacles Lies Truth”, the new full length album by BOLT, is yet another impressive epitome in the band's twelve year long career. It’s also yet another step forward musically, ideologically, and in terms of production. With added harmony, greater impingement, and undeniable musicianship, the band have once again reset their standards.

The record reflects everything that has taken place in the lives of the individuals, and the maturing scene of their hometown of Helsinki, Finland. The good, the bad and everything else in between. Hence the album’s triumphant title. They have managed to stay afloat throughout the changing times, and the changes in their line-up.

They are the last band left of their ”era”, the era that has molded Helsinki hardcore into what it is today. Still “Behind Obstacles Lies Truth” is undeniably the most relevant record the band has made. And why shouldn’t it be? After all it’s the outcome of 12 years of steady progress.

Full House records will soon be releasing a new Cutdown "s/t" full length. After three years of playing and writing new songs since the release of the debut full length "Always Intact", the new cd is finally mixed and mastered. Expect the cd to be out in late January or February. In the meanwhile, you can check out two songs (Deadweight & Never Again) from the upcoming cd on Cutdown's myspace. BUILDING A LEGACY 2 (A Document Of Finnish Hardcore) complination cd will see the light of day this autumn. This long waited sequal includes 15 bands and 29 songs of hard and tight music.
