...Is located in the heart of Punavuori, trendy old working-class neighborhood in Helsinki City. It was established in 2000 as a private studio of Kristian. Kristian moved the studio to the current location in 2001 when they wanted to have a hardcore/punkrock record shop and a tattoo studio under one roof with his friend Mika. The story of the record shop was over after a year because Mika went back studying. So tattooing took over the whole store and the goal of passion was set... To offer high quality work; good, solid and long lasting tattoos in a positive environment and to keep on progressing as artists and a craftsmen.
Since 2003 Legacy is owned and operated by Kristian and Sailor Andy, proud to feature a bunch of creative and inspiring artists like Tomi Kuusisto and Jussi Kokkarinen. and now in addition our former apprentice, Jussi S. The artists at Legacy specialize in all genre's of tattooing. Numerous "over the top"-skilled tattooers from all over the world have visited our facilities and some of them work at our studio on a regular basis. We are certified laser operators and are able to offer you tattoo removal by Q-Switch laser. It´s a good way to have a perfect cover-up tattoo when you first lighten your old tattoo with a few lasering sessions.
